The recent addition of highly rated restaurants such as Marzano and Bellanico is turning the area into Oakland’s "gourmet ghetto." These are located along the central spine of Park Boulevard, which offers great vistas of the bay. The Glenview Neighborhood Association and GlenFriends have adopted Park Boulevard, sponsoring a garden party planting of daylilies and carpet roses on the Park Boulevard median.
